PERSPECTIVES OF PLAY

 Design a pop-up space for symbolic play. We discussed the possibility of combining ideas of loose parts and symbolic play. I can ask each student to bring one or several ordinary objects from home, and the challenge that we can propose is to work out a space using the idea of modular composition? The space would house those objects in a way that permits interactions (role-play) and invention of plots.

 Studio, centered on how studio spaces are very specific spaces constructed to the needs and ways of work of the specific artist/s who lives/works in the studio. Your session will be in a part of the unit, where we emphasize the relation of materials and the places where these materials are encountered, and used for creative purposes.  

A session in the city with a tutor and artists which involved sound exploration and creation. The idea is, if you had the visit of a young group of children in the studio, how would you introduce and use the space with them.
