PERSPECTIVES OF PLAY

The brief: To design a pop-up space for symbolic play.

We discussed the possibility of combining ideas of loose parts and symbolic play. we asked each student to bring one or several ordinary objects from home, and the challenge that we proposed was to work out a space using the idea of modular composition? The space would house those objects in a way that permits interactions (role-play) and invention of plots.
